Skill Enhance
You can enhance your Crash Skills, active skills, and passive skills.
You will need Credits to do this.

How to Unlock
You can unlock Skill Enhancement by clearing Main Quest 2-2 (Normal).

Max Skill Level
The maximum skill level is equal to the character's level.

Enhancing Skill Levels
To do this:
1. Tap "Party" on the left side of the Home Screen.
2. Tap "Character".
3. Tap the character whose skill you wish to enhance.
4. Tap "Skill".
5. Select the skill you wish to enhance, and tap "Enhance".

Unlocking Skills
By increasing the Grade of your character, you can unlock new skills.
Grade 2 will unlock a second active skill, and Grade 5 will unlock a passive skill.
*For details about how to Grade Up, please check under "Character" > "Character Enhancement" > "Expansion" in the Help section.

Checking Skill Levels
To do this:
1. Tap "Party" on the left side of the Home Screen.
2. Tap "Character".
3. Tap the character whose skill you wish to check.
4. Tap "Skill".
5. Select the skill, and you will be able to view the skill details.
Tip: If you long-press the character at step 3, you can check their skill details this way as well.

Ascension
You can raise your character's stats by increasing their rarity (number of ★s).

Maximum Number of Stars
The max number of stars a character can have is 5.
You can ascend all characters to 5 stars.

Items to Ascend a Character
You will need the character's Anima and Credits to ascend them.
With each increase, the number of Anima and Credits needed will also increase.
For details, please see below:

★1→★2 30 20,000
★2→★3 100 30,000
★3→★4 120 40,000
★4→★5 150 50,000


Ascending Characters
To do this:
1. Tap "Party" on the left side of the Home Screen.
2. Tap "Character".
3. Tap the character you wish to ascend.
4. Tap "Rarity".
5. Tap "Ascend". The character will ascend after using up Anima and Credits.

ALICE Fiction wiki: Optimize Character

You can enhance your character efficiently and raise their level and skill level, expand, and grade up all at once.
You will still need the same amount of enhancing items (Battle Records, expansion items, Credits) as you would normally.
*Characters will not ascend during optimization.

Optimizing Characters
To do this:
1. Tap "Party" on the left side of the Home Screen.
2. Tap "Character".
3. Tap the character whose skill you wish to optimize.
4. Tap "Optimize Character".
5. Tap "Enhance" if you wish to proceed. The character's level and skill level will increase, and they will expand and grade up.
*If nothing can be enhanced, optimization cannot occur.
