OCTOPATH TRAVELER CotC battle options.

During battle, you can use the options bar on the bottom of the screen to carry out different commands. Allies are there to support you during battle. You can add allies to your band by using certain path actions in towns. Select allies at the bottom of the battle screen to summon one of your recruited helpers to use their skill during a fight. The number of times you can summon an ally depends on the ally. You can raise the number of allies that you can add to the band and the number of times you can summon allies in a single battle with traveler skills. As allies generally act at the end of a turn, the skill may not take effect during the turn it is used.

Fleeing - allows you to escape battles, if successful, the battle will end and you will return to the field. If you successfully flee the battle, you will not gain EXP for any enemies defeated during the fight. If you fail to flee tha battle, characters cannot act during that turn. There are certain battles you cannot flee.
Swithc all: when using switch all, all party members in the front row will switch with all party members in the back row at once. Using a party boost allows all characters acting during the following turn to consume all their BP and attack. You can speed up the battle with this feature.

OCTOPATH TRAVELER CotC settings

command memory: remembers which commands you use in battle. Setting this to 'on' will use commands selected in the previous turn during subsequent turns. This will be canceled when set to off initial setting: off.
Formation memory: remembers changes made to your battle formation. Setting this to 'on' will allow yo to maintain the same formation even after the battle ends. This will be canceled when set to 'off'.
Targeting modeauto-swap: automatically decides which enemies you will target. Settings this to 'on' will select target focus mode. Travelers will target individual only when commands have been selected. This will be canceled when set to off.
